Herboriste Canin never overlaps two litters. The time it takes a family to get to know their puppy is the same time it takes us to know them ourselves — their temperament, how they react to noise, how they sleep against their littermates.
Our females live in the house, never in an outdoor kennel. A litter is a household event we watch closely, not an operation we repeat.

Screening before breeding
Hips, elbows, patellas, eyes, heart — plus a breed-specific genetic panel, before any decision to breed is made. Results are handed over, never summarized.
A record book, not a memory
Every puppy has their own record book — weight, socialization, feeding, key dates — kept since birth and handed to the family the day they leave.
Support for life
Reachable long after your puppy leaves, for a question about grooming, feeding or behaviour. And if you can no longer keep them, they come back here — always.
The Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, and nothing else.
A wheat-coloured coat, single-layered — no undercoat — that barely sheds in the house, but that needs brushing several times a week and a trim every six to eight weeks. This isn't a low-maintenance dog; it's a dog that needs regular care rather than occasional care.
I loved this breed before I ever bred it: a wheat-coloured dog, in a life built around plants. The temperament did the rest — playful, devoted, sturdy for its size.
From your first question to the day they come home.
You write to us
Describe your household honestly: children, other pets, grooming experience, timing. We reply within one to two days — sometimes to say plainly that this dog wouldn't suit you.
We meet
Visits by appointment, even before a litter is born. You meet the parents and ask your most direct questions.
Reservation and matching
A deposit confirms your place on the litter. Puppy–family matching happens around week six, based on the temperament recorded in the book — not the colour picked from a photo.
Going home at nine weeks
Your puppy leaves vaccinated, microchipped, groomed once already, with a complete record book and a blanket carrying the scent of the litter.
A litter is expected this fall.
